Green Zeolite information and FAQs
Green Zeolite
Green Zeolite is a type of natural mineral and rock with aluminum silicate in unique crystal form. Zeolite is also known as clinoptilolite and is thought to be one of the oldest deposits of its kind in the world. Zeolite is formed like a 3D honeycomb or hive like structure; it has an extraordinary ability to absorb, hold, release and exchange different chemicals, nutrients and ion. This is a special function called Cation Exchange.
Zeolite has been widely used in agricultural, food, cosmetic and many more.
Benefit:
- Water purification (clean water) – Due to its high porosity, it absorb impurity in water. 2-way regulating effect on water quality, soften hard water.
- Due to its unique negatively charged honeycomb, microporous cellular structure, this is able to attract positively charged contaminants. (i.e., toxins and heavy elements)
- Slowly release important nutrients such as K, N, and other positive elements to the plants.
- Strong ability to absorb and retain water, this reduce water usage.
- Reduce harmful bacteria, virus and fungus.
Usage:
Top dressing for miniature terrariums / indoor potted plants.
Use as soil mixes or substrate including but not limit to Bonsai, Succulents, Cactus, hydroponics, orchids and citrus plants.
Can be used in aquarium.
